TCP (Paranagua Container Terminal) will commencing the construction of pier 218 extension.
The port has just informed that stopped ships operations in the mooring dolphins today the 27.03.2018 to commence shortly the construction of the new pier (pier 218). According to the port information, the job should take at least 6 months to be completed.
In the meantime, ships, which call the mooring dolphins, such as PCC and RO-RO types, should be deviated to call shed 215,216 and 217 disputing berthing with full container ships.
Additionally the port informed that news dolphins will be built within 2 years’ time.
