We have received today an information that Customs Auditors in Brazil ran into strike from 01.04.2018 up to 07.04.2018. It will deferral all Customs’ operations over cargoes clearances and other ports relevant operations, which are directly linked to Customs´ control.
The Customs Auditors promised to release essential cargoes such as medicine, hospital supplies, live animals and provisions to ship’s crew.
Furthermore, Customs Auditors informed that further stoppages may be called along the forthcoming months should their demands are not attended fully.
