Renault do Brasil reached the important mark of one million vehicles exported in its 25 years of local production. Currently, the most exported model is the Kwid, which is shipped to around 40 countries around the world.
Around 30% of the vehicles produced at the Ayrton Senna Industrial Complex are destined for export, mainly to Latin American countries, such as Chile, Colombia, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay. From the Complex, engines and parts are also sent to Argentina, Colombia and Türkiye. The exported products are shipped, for the most part, via the Port of Paranaguá, in Paraná, while the remainder is distributed via road transport to other countries.
“The Port of Paranaguá has implemented a series of logistical improvements that make loading and unloading vehicles more agile. In addition to its strategic location, Paraná has highly qualified port workers, reducing the number of occurrences of damage to this type of cargo to zero”, highlights the CEO of the public company Portos do Paraná, Luiz Fernando Garcia.
