The national secretary for Ports and Waterway Transport of the Ministry of Ports and Airports, Fabrizio Pierdomenico, visited this Wednesday (22) the facilities of the Port of Paranaguá and the administrative headquarters of the public company. In the morning, the secretary participated in the inauguration of the Klabin terminal in the Port of Paranaguá, alongside Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior, and the CEO of Portos do Paraná, Luiz Fernando Garcia, among other authorities and guests. For the secretary, the award-winning management of Portos do Paraná is a reference in Brazil. “Paranaguá is an example that we have the capacity to have very efficient public ports,” he said. He highlighted the innovative projects planned by the Paraná port authority. “The plans for the future are very consistent, we have a great challenge, from the port and the federal government, to close the modeling of the future concession of the port’s access channel”, he said. Luiz Fernando Garcia presented the public company’s planning for the coming years to the secretary. “We have several works and projects in progress, always thinking about the medium and long term. This is how the ports of Paraná remain attractive to the market and new investments”, highlighted Garcia.
