Director of the Environment, João Paulo Ribeiro Santana, showed the public company’s projects to infrastructure and transport professionals in the country
Portos do Paraná was present at the 25th National Road Conservation Meeting and 45th Annual Paving Meeting in Foz do Iguaçu, this Friday, the 22nd. The public company exposed its investments for the expansion and modernization of its port structure to receive the flow of production, much of it coming precisely through the modal under debate in the city of Três Fronteiras.
“This is a national event that debated road conservation and Portos do Paraná was invited to talk about its investments in the port sector. We held a round table on investments in various sectors and I represented President Luiz Fernando to talk about the public and private investments we are making with our projects”, highlighted João Paulo Ribeiro Santana, Director of Environment.
According to him, the highlights of Portos do Paraná were the new Moegão and the new Tenders and Auctions for areas in addition to the public consultation for the concession of the Galheta Navigation Channel.
“We talked about environmental challenges and issues, in addition to the physical and territorial issues that are part of the challenge of expanding and growing port investments and we also talked about the port/city relationship in our logistics interface in the city of Paranaguá”, concluded João Paulo.
The objective of the event was to provide technical training, knowledge recycling and exchanges. Among the speakers throughout the meeting were Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior, Secretary of Infrastructure and Logistics Sandro Alex and President Director of the Highways Department Fernando Furiatti.
