In February, the sale of new vehicles in Brazil, considering only automobiles and light commercial vehicles (pickup trucks and vans), grew 1.48% over February last year and 4.63% over January this year, with the license plate. 192,639 units. The data were released today (2) by the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave).
When new trucks and buses are added to the sales of automobiles and light commercial vehicles, there was an increase of 1.18% in relation to February of last year and of 3.89% in comparison with January.
However, when considering the registration of all segments combined (automobiles, light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, motorcycles, road implements and other vehicles), there was a fall of 0.92% in the annual comparison and of 1.76% over January, with the sale of 293,157 units.
Year-to-date
Between January and February this year, the sale of all segments decreased by -1.27%, with the sale of 591,565 units.
Considering only the license plates for automobiles and light commercial vehicles in the year, there was a decrease of 0.98%, with the license plate of 376,756 units.
