It has been informed that Custom Officers will stop working as from 14.0.5.2018 for a period of 30 days.
The reason is to push Federal Government to attend their welfares demands long due.
This morning the chief of customs at Paranagua has informed the officers adherence on the 30 days strike is so minimal locally. According to his information, most officers continue working on a normal basis. Therefore, he considered the effect expected on the port´s moves would not be as detrimental as most expect.
